Keep in Contact!

The Enterprise Club is currently still closed due to social distancing measures, but we just wanted to let our loyal members, volunteers, and supporters know what we are doing to support our community in these challenging times.

Our 'Keep in Contact' project includes General Manager Jill Simms getting in touch with a number of volunteers and members every day by telephone, email, or our Facebook page to see how everyone is getting on. Our transport coordinator Clive Simms has also been taking song requests and recording sing-along videos for you to join in with. Management Committee member Angela Green has been making 'thinking of you' cards for the club to send out, Ann Wilson has been creating wordsearches, and we have also been delivering supplies that have kindly been donated by Tesco - including Easter eggs, craft materials, and colouring sheets. Our day centre is still carrying out its weekly quiz as well. Our handicraft group members are keeping busy at work with wool, books, and jigsaws delivered by the club, so whenever we next meet we hope to gather a number of hand-crafted items for sale at our next big event - maybe even the Christmas bazaar!

We also continue to seek out new funding sources to keep the club going and hope to secure the majority of the cost of a new bus to replace our odlest vehicle very soon.

We hope that everyone is keeping themselves safe and well at the moment, and remember that we would love to hear from you!
